The intent of the podcast is to share district information and elevate understanding and appreciation of the various challenges and opportunities facing public education, and specifically Leavenworth Public Schools. A variety of topics will be selected for a deeper dive conversation/Q&A with subject matter experts, including staff, students, and community members.

In the Pilot episode of 453 Fireside, you can tune into hear from Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kellen J. Adams, and Director of Public Relations, Jake Potter, providing an overview for this new channel of communication, and discussing the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation in advance of a new school year.
