JROTC brings home national championships again

JROTC brings home national championships again
Congratulations to the Leavenworth Senior High School JROTC Raiders who brought home the national championship in both the men's and women's division at the National Raider Challenge for the seventh time!
The 2026 JROTC National Raider Challenge took place from April 16-19, 2026, at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This elite, multi-day, all-service competition for high school cadets featured events like the 5K run, rope bridge, and Gauntlet obstacle course, with over 3,000 participants.
The teams departed on the “Search for Seven,” with a community send-off that included a police escort.
The team was under the command of seniors Sam Gillman and Elisabeth Howell.
