Bussing

Leavenworth USD 453 has a contract with Easton Bus Service to provide bussing to students. Parents will be able to enroll their student for a bus route during the enrollment process completed in PowerSchool. Our district follows the State of Kansas transportation funding formula, providing busing for those students who live more than 2.5 miles from the designated attendance center.

Once Easton Bus has determined your child’s transportation you will be contacted through email with their bus information. IMPORTANT! Email will come from info@ezrouting.com
*If you have a Gmail account please watch for your email in your spam/junk folder. Your child's name will be in the subject line.

Leavenworth USD 453 Elementary Schools are using ParentSquare!

Earl Lawson Early Education Center, Anthony Elementary, David Brewer Elementary and Henry Leavenworth Elementary are all using ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number from your PowerSchool account. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification

  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm

  • Communicate in your preferred language

  • Comment on school postings to engage with your school community

  • Direct message teachers, staff and other parents

  • Participate in group messages

  • Sign forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer and more all from your desktop or mobile device
