Full Court Press - The Ken Zacher Story

Ken Zacher was one of the most brilliant minds high school basketball had ever seen. He became the head coach in Nowata, Oklahoma in 1968 and quickly took the program to the top in the state. He also did great things for race relations. In 1972, a race issue caused Nowata to split down the middle. Ultimately, Zacher was let go from Nowata High School and found his next coaching job in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Zacher turned Leavenworth basketball around, and brought a change in the school and community culture as they went on to win game after game, and the state sportsmanship award. Few knew that this leader on the court battled mental illness his whole life. At 36 years old, he took his life.

In this powerful documentary, many players, coaches, and family members share their memories and the journey toward peace.
