Class of 2017 Commencement

The commencement ceremony for Leavenworth High School's Class of 2017 will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, at Pioneer Stadium (if inclement weather, event will be moved indoors to main gymnasium). Riverfront Student Art Show

Students across the district are putting the finishing touches on their masterpieces in preparation for the First Annual Riverfront Student Art Show. The event will be held Friday, April 28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Riverfront Community Center. All are welcome and encouraged to come out and help support the district's amazing student artists.

"The Picture of Success" - Thirty-first Annual Leavenworth High School Academic Banquet

The Leavenworth High School Academic Banquet recognizes the top 2.5% of freshmen, top 5% of sophomores, top 10% of juniors, and the top 15% of seniors for their academic achievement. This year’s Academic Banquet was held on April 24, 2017, under the theme of “The Picture of Success.”

Students receive an academic letter and pin (the first time, then a bar, thereafter), and a certificate of achievement, presented this year by Dr. Mike Roth, superintendent of schools. They are also recognized and celebrated by the Leavenworth Board of Education and district administration.

LHS Interact Club to Host Earth Day Celebration

Interact Club of Leavenworth High School is hosting an Earth Day celebration event on Saturday, April, 22nd from 2-4 p.m in the LHS cafeteria.

Our beautiful earth deserves more care! This Earth Day, everyone can celebrate together! Come out with friends and family to learn from several professionals in the area about hazards, conservation, etc! There will be fun activities for kids, including a planting and coloring/activity station, as well as interactive presentations by different community organizations! The information presented has both students and children in mind.

More activities that were not listed will be available. BUT! One thing that cannot get passed without being mentioned is the PLANT AUCTION! Creative, potted plants made from the hands of Leavenworth High School will be sold in a silent auction. Please come support Earth Day as well as our student/faculty efforts!
