Two LHS Students Selected as 2010 KMBC-TV Hy-Vee Scholar Athletes

Makenzie Shepard and Nathan Kohl were both recently notified of their selection as two of ten 2010 KMBC-TV Hy-Vee Scholar Athletes.  During the months of March and April a different Scholar Athlete will be featured each Wednesday on the KMBC-TV 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.  Makenzie and Nathan will be presented a plaque recognizing their $1000 scholarship.  Makenzie and Nathan's academic, athletic, and community service accomplishments during high school years are exemplary!  Congratulations, LHS students!
