2008 Bond Issue Questions and Answers

On November 4th, 2008, the Leavenworth community showed its support for its school district in the passage of the bond issue.  After a couple of months of strategic communication with the community, voters went to the polls.  The official number of votes was 6,504 yes and 3,932 no.  What a margin!  This is certainly an exciting time in Leavenworth education and many great things are on the horizon.  Many thanks to the Facilities Committee, which included students, parents, and community members who worked in collaboration with District staff in the planning and implementation of the facilities improvement plan.  These pages on the district website were originally constructed to educate the community on the particulars of the bond issue.  Now, it will be used to update patrons on the progress of the planning and execution of the construction/renovation projects.  It will change and grow as the building projects do.

Check back often and continue to learn about the construction projects.
